Annual summer fair slated in downtown Maumee

Downtown Maumee is expected to be a bustling place in midmonth, with food, entertainment, and live music.

The annual Taste of Maumee and Summer Fair, sponsored by the Maumee Uptown Business Association, is to take place Aug. 17 and 18.

Festivities include food from local restaurants, children’s activities Aug. 17, and a street fair and a parade, starting at 10 a.m., on Aug. 18.
