The public is invited to help make a 13-by-6-foot glass mosaic mural to be displayed permanently in the Waterville Library.

Participants do not have to be artists to help, organizers said.

The project is paid for by the Toledo-Lucas County Library Legacy Foundation and organized by the Waterville Area Arts Council.

Mosaic glass artist Gail Christofferson of Animal House Glass is the lead artist for the project.

The mural illustration was created by Alison Quinn of Waterville.
