Grants available for removal of trees harmed by emerald ash borer
10/9/2012Grants for the removal of trees harmed by the emerald ash borer are available through the WSOS community action group.
Wood County residents, including residents of Perrysburg and Perrysburg Township, are among those who can apply for up to 40 percent of the cost of removing two ash trees from their private residential properties.
An application for funding and bids from three companies that employ ISA-certified arborists must be submitted.
