Waterville council to annex 250 acres

Waterville City Council recently tabled a resolution for an agreement with Waterville Township to annex 250 acres along State Route 64 west of the U.S. 24 bypass that is within the city’s water and sanitary district.

Council members at their regular meeting Oct. 8 said they wanted to study the issue further, which may take several months, according to municipal administrator James Bagdonas.

The current agreement dates to 1997, and property owners from the city’s western edge to just east of Noward Road are seeking annexation, Mr. Bagdonas said.
