Wood County Commissioners Jim Carter, Tim Brown, and Joel Kuhlman have appointed Irma Wolf to the Wood County Historical Society Board. Ms. Wolf's term will be effective until Dec. 31, 2013.

Ms. Wolf, who is retired from the Wood County Auditor's Office where she served as chief deputy auditor, is replacing and serving out Dana Nemeth's position on the board which became vacant upon Ms. Nemeth's acceptance of the Wood County Historical Museum and Center's position of director.

In late October, Ms. Nemeth was hired as the new director, replacing Christie Weininger who resigned this summer to take a job as director of the Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont.
