Wood Co. gets grant for undercover work

BLADE STAFF

The Wood County Sheriff's Office has received a grant from the Office of Criminal Justice Services for proactive enforcement of human trafficking laws.

The $5,328 grant will allow for continued undercover human trafficking investigations, according to Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn.

The funds will cover some of the ongoing costs for prostitution stings throughout the county.
