Spirit of Giving dinner fund-raiser approaching
2/5/2013The annual Spirit of Giving dinner will be Feb. 15 at Anthony Wayne High School.
The dinner serves to raise money for local families in the district who have, or did have, major medical issues.
Among those who will benefit this year: the families of Cage Osborne, who has been diagnosed with a brain malformation; Jenny Valentine, who has acute pancreatitis; and Amy Rhodes, who has breast cancer.
Dinner will be spaghetti, salad, rolls, desserts, water, lemonade, and coffee. The desserts will be donated from teachers, students, parents, and community members. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the high school.
