BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University will present a speaker who will share her story about her daughter’s rape and death.

Andrea Cooper’s college-age daughter Kristin committed suicide after a friend raped her in 1995. Following that, her mother began to share her daughter’s story through hundreds of speaking engagements.

Ms. Cooper will speak at BGSU for the fourth time at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union.

She will discuss suicide prevention and provide educational information about rape.

The event, sponsored by the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, is free. The public is welcome.
