Waterville City Council has approved a project to fix a sanitary sewer under Waterville-Monclova Road.
“We recently discovered a pipe shifted and caused a high spot,” said city Administrator James Bagdonas. “We need to remove the pipe and reinstall it.”
Mr. Bagdonas said the maximum cost would be $15,000 for three days’ work.
He said that while the sewer hasn’t backed up, Mayor Lori Brodie said the city is fixing it before there is a problem.
