Purchases of road salt, trucks approved

Perrysburg City Council has approved the purchase of salt for the 2013-14 winter season from the Detroit Salt Co. at $41.90 a ton. The city bought 1,360 tons of salt, totaling $56,984.

Council also authorized the service department to buy a Ford F-350 pickup for $27,231 from Brondes Ford.

A Ford F-550 was approved for the water division for $40,091 from Valley Ford.
