Man accused of killing 20-month-old daughter

CINCINNATI A man was charged with murder Friday in the death of his 20-month old daughter, whose body was found in a park, police said.

Aliyah Myrick was last seen with Darius Myrick about 9 p.m. Thursday when he took his daughter from the house where she lived with her mother, police said.

The child s mother told police that Mr. Myrick, 32, had made threatening statements toward the child, referring to her as Satan s child.

Police found the child s body about 10:30 a.m. along a trial in a park, and there were no obvious signs of trauma, said police Chief Thomas Streicher .
