St. Luke's CEO rejoins state board

COLUMBUS - St. Luke's Hospital President-CEO Frank "Jack" Bartell III has been reappointed by Gov. Bob Taft to the Medical Quality Foundation Board, a tax-exempt organization that funds programs to improve the quality of care to the public.

Mr. Bartell of Maumee will serve through July 20, 2009. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo and a master's of professional studies from Cornell University.

Members are compensated only for expenses.
