4 shot after Flint Michigan area high school basketball game

MOUNT MORRIS TOWNSHIP, Mich. Four people, including two students, have been shot in a parking lot following a Michigan high school basketball game.

Police in Mount Morris Township say officers were clearing as many as 500 people Tuesday night when the shooting occurred in the Flint area.

Two are students in the Beecher High School district about 60 miles northwest of Detroit. The others are former students. Of three admitted to a hospital, two required surgery and the other was released.

According to media reports, a 16-year-old, two 19-year-olds and a 20-year-old were wounded.

The violence broke out after a game between Beecher High and Flint Hamady. No arrests have been made.
