COLUMBUS - A man who took part in a 1992 Christmas holiday killing spree that left six people dead and two wounded is scheduled to be executed Tuesday by the state of Ohio.

Marvallous Keene, 36, had no plans to ask a court to stop his pending execution, his attorney said Monday.

Keene, convicted in five of the murders, was transferred Monday from a state prison in Youngstown to the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, where the state has its death chamber.

Keene and three accomplices went on a three-day murder and robbery rampage in Dayton that began on Christmas Eve, 1992. Victims included an 18-year-old mother, a convenience store clerk shot in the head after handing over $30 from a cash register, and two teenage acquaintances.

His accomplices are serving life sentences.
