COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio motorists whose licenses have been suspended may now make payment online to have their driving privileges reinstated.
Previously, the fees of $30 or more could be paid only by mail or in person at a reinstatement center. The Bureau of Motor Vehicles announced the new online payment option on Monday.
Immediately following payment, the agency s Web site will provide instant notification that a driver license has been reinstated, as long as other requirements have already been met. Officials say those can include court appearances and community service.
