DETROIT - DTE Energy Co. said Sunday that about 60,000 homes and businesses in Michigan lost power at the height of a two-day weekend storm.

Spokesman Len Singer said power would be restored to most utility customers by last night.

The storms brought a rare May snowstorm that dropped 3 to 4 inches of snow in the northern Lower Peninsula and up to 5 inches in parts of the Upper Peninsula.
