COLUMBUS — The Ohio Supreme Court has appointed attorney and Lucas County resident William Jennings chairman of a panel focused on challenges faced by the families of judges. He is the husband of Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings.

Mr. Jennings, now in his first term on the 18-member advisory committee on the Judicial Family Network, will replace Pam Harris as chairman as she completes her one-year term. He has a law degree from the University of Toledo.

Mary Moyer, wife of the late Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer, founded the committee in 2000 after her work with the national Judicial Family Institute, which is affiliated with the national Conference of Chief Justices.

The state panel identifies the needs and concerns of families of the Ohio judiciary and offers educational opportunities and a supportive network.
