DEARBORN, Mich. — President Barack Obama's liaison to the Muslim world is speaking at a Ramadan event in suburban Detroit on Sunday.

Rashad Hussain will speak on U.S. foreign policy at the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn. The Detroit Free Press says the talk is part of a dinner hosted by U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Detroit.

The 31-year-old Hussain is special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference. The group represents Palestine and 56 nations with large Muslim populations.

Dearborn is the center of southeastern Michigan's about 300,000-member Middle Eastern community.
