WOOSTER, Ohio — Preliminary autopsy results show a man was decapitated after he and his wife were fatally shot in the head at a farmhouse in northeast Ohio.

According to The Daily Record in Wooster, Wayne County coroner Amy Jolliff says Mervin and Viola Stutzman were killed with a shotgun last week. Authorities found the Mount Eaton couple dead Thursday after one of their sons called to request a welfare check because the couple hadn't been seen in days.

Online court records show another adult son, Rodney Stutzman, is expected to face aggravated murder and burglary charges in the case. He was arrested near Beckley, W.Va., and is being held in a West Virginia jail. No attorney is listed in the online court record.
