COLUMBUS — The Ohio casino project in Columbus is the latest to draw job hopefuls.

Would-be workers have a chance to apply for up to 3,500 construction positions with Hollywood Casino Columbus. A two-day job fair opened Tuesday near the casino site on the city's west side and continues Wednesday.

The Columbus Dispatch reports hiring has not yet begun to find the 2,000 workers who will operate the casino, which is scheduled to open late next year.

The casino is one of four approved by Ohio voters. The others will be in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Toledo. The Cleveland and Toledo casinos have started interviewing for card dealer positions.
