COLUMBUS — A national group that seeks unclaimed veterans' remains so they can be laid to rest with full military honors is working with a local American Legion council to plan services for 10 Ohio veterans.

The Missing in America Project is coordinating with representatives from the American Legion's 12th Council to plan the May 22 burial at Dayton National Cemetery. Hundreds of people are expected to attend the two-hour service.

The cremated remains were found among others in November at the Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home in Columbus. Missing in America Project volunteers have been trying to find next of kin for the 10 servicemen. No one has stepped forward.
