COLUMBUS — A bomb squad was sweeping a central Ohio high school as a precaution after a student sent some tweets and posted YouTube videos that many saw as threatening.

Police on Monday arrested the 16-year-old Gahanna-Lincoln High School who allegedly sent the tweets and posted videos that police said induced panic.

Deputy Police Chief Ken Bell said the videos and the tweets contained no direct threats of harm, but more than 200 concerned parents and students called police in the Columbus-area community to report them over the weekend.

In the initial video, a computer-generated or altered voice says "I am not here to physically harm anyone," but it goes on to say that "next time we meet I will have something more interesting to show you all."
