DAYTON -- Homeowners are busy cleaning up after storms swept through the Dayton area.

Hundreds of people were left without power after the storms that began Friday night and continued into early Saturday. Dayton Power and Light said crews were working to restore power Saturday.

Lightning postponed dozens of high school football games in western Ohio. In the Dayton suburb of Kettering, firefighters and police were called to a neighborhood where wind downed trees and power lines. The Dayton Daily News reported a gas leak in the area.
