CINCINNATI — Election officials in southwest Ohio are prepared to forward five cases of potential vote fraud in November's election to a county prosecutor's office for possible criminal charges.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Hamilton County officials also have ordered further investigation into about two dozen other voters’ actions.

One of the five cases includes an individual who lives in Florida but tried to use her old address to vote in Hamilton County. The board of elections discovered the issue after the voter's request for an absentee ballot was handled by a temporary worker who had bought the woman's home when she moved to Florida.

At a Monday meeting, elections board members delayed forwarding the five cases until next month so any additional cases may be sent along at the same time.
