CINCINNATI — A southwest Ohio YMCA has fired an assistant swimming coach over an allegation he took “indecent liberties” with a team member.

The Countryside YMCA Torpedoes swim team was competing in a national swim meet in Greensboro, N.C., over the weekend. CEO Mike Carroll of the Lebanon-based YMCA says that 30-year-old Patrick Jeanneret has been dismissed after his arrest there.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Greensboro police said they were restricted from releasing information because the alleged victim is a juvenile. The newspaper reported that Jeanneret was released from jail Saturday after posting $20,000 bond.

There was no telephone listing available for him.
