Port Clinton lawyer fills elections board opening


COLUMBUS — Secretary of State Jon Husted has appointed Port Clinton lawyer Adrienne Hines to a seat on the Ottawa County Board of Elections. She will complete the term of Linda Apling, who retired.

Ms. Hines, 41, of Catawba Township was appointed to the Ohio Democratic Party Executive Committee in December.

Each county board of elections in Ohio has two Democratic and two Republican members.

Ms. Hines was recommended by the Ottawa County Democratic Party.
