CLEVELAND — Federal authorities say two Ohio men and a California man have been indicted for their alleged participation in a conspiracy to distribute nearly 3,000 pills of Oxycodone.

The indictment announced today by the U.S. Attorney in Cleveland Steven Dettelbach states the pills were shipped from California to Ohio and often packaged in video movie disc covers and plastic bubble mailing envelopes.

The Ohio men are 44-year-old Myron D. Black, of Mansfield, and 45-year-old Victor A. Hageman, of Euclid. The third man is 49-year-old Chauncey L. Ransom of Inglewood, Calif.

Dettelbach's office says Ransom sent shipments of between 200 and 600 pills to addresses in northeast Ohio via the U.S. Postal Service.

Black's attorney didn't immediately return a request for comment. Court records don't list attorneys for Hageman and Ransom.
