CLEVELAND — The legal groundwork could begin emerging at the first pretrial hearing for a convicted sex offender charged in Ohio with nearly 300 counts, including aggravated murder and rape.
A pretrial was scheduled today in Cleveland for 49-year-old Elias Acevedo. The charges against him include 173 counts of rape.
He pleaded not guilty last week and was being held on $5 million bond.
