Ohio man killed in officer-involved shooting

COLUMBUS — A man has been killed in an officer-involved shooting outside a dance club in Columbus.

Columbus TV stations reported that it happened at about 2 a.m. today when at least one of the officers working a special detail at the Charlie Bear nightclub shot at a man who came outside, got a gun from his car and fired it at another man.

Witnesses told reporters that the men fought inside the club before one of them left to go to his car.

The club is near Ohio State University, but it wasn’t known if any of those involved were connected to the university.

No other details were immediately available.
