COLUMBUS — Police say three teenage women were shot in Columbus after they met to conduct a shoe sale.

Columbus police say the teens met along a residential street in the city’s South Side on Saturday evening for a sale of Air Jordan shoes.

Police say the two sides exchanged gunfire and that three of them were hit.

Eighteen-year-old Brien Turner was hit in the abdomen, 18-year-old Briana Granger was shot in her lower back and 19-year-old Sabrina Peck was shot in her upper right leg.

They’re listed in stable condition.

Police did not identify who the suspected shooters were and did not immediately return a request for that information on Sunday.
