CLYDE, Ohio — Fuel sales will be suspended today at two Ohio Turnpike service plazas while the fuel systems are upgraded, the Ohio Turnpike Commission announced.

Filling stations at the Commodore Perry and Erie Islands service plazas, at turnpike Milepost 100 between the Fremont and Sandusky/Bellevue interchanges, were to close at midnight for the project, which is scheduled for completion by April 11. Underground fuel piping, dispenser sumps, turbine sumps, and fuel dispensers will be replaced.

Restaurants, restrooms, and other services will remain available at the two plazas during the fuel outage.
