State funds program to provide child safety seats
3/3/2014COLUMBUS — State Sen. Edna Brown (D, Toledo) said the State Controlling Board has released $81,812 over the next two fiscal years for a program to provide child safety seats for low-income families and to educate and train parents on their correct installation and use.
The money will go to Ohio Buckles Buckeyes, which is administered locally by ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital, along with the Ohio Department of Health.
