Answer: She took home $11,000 Wednesday during Kids Week on the TV game show Jeopardy!

Question: Who is Tamika Turner?

Turner, an 8th-grader at Sylvania's Timberstone Junior High School, was one of 15 contestants between the ages of 10 and 12 who appeared on the show this week.

She is the only child to Elaine Turner, who works as the assistant director for administration in the University of Toledo's office of Residence Life.

"I am so happy and so proud of her. We watch Jeopardy! religiously because it comes on around dinner time and she's always throwing out the answers. I told her, 'You need to be on the show,'●" said Elaine Turner.

Young Turner plans to purchase an MP3 player and some clothes and invest the rest of her winnings in a college savings fund.

Other Jeopardy! Kids Week winners, who competed on different nights, took home a minimum guaranteed cash prize of $10,000. Second and third place received $2,000 and $1,000 respectively, and all students receives a computer package courtesy of America Online.
