Two Toledo women, who once shared the same Valentine, will battle it out in court today on the NBC television program Judge Judy. The dispute, scheduled to air at noon on WNWO-TV, Channel 24, involves a dispute over whether damages to a car were accidental or deliberate.

The plaintiff, Marilyn Jones, 23, a local secretary, is suing the defendant Shizuko Darling, 24, who lists her occupation as a server, for almost $3,000. At the dismay of the show s host Judge Judy Sheindlin, the two women, who at one time shared the same ex-boyfriend, refused to reveal his identity in court.

Jones claims that Shizuko scraped her car with a key, rammed it and tried to run her over after attending a mutual friend s housewarming, where the women s ex-boyfriend was present. Judge Judy will make her final ruling and render her decision on the case on today s show.

Guests on the show receive an appearance fee and their travel expenses to Los Angeles for themselves and their witnesses are covered, according to a spokesman for the show.

In other news, Judge Sheindlin will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today.
