Andrew Zepeda may be back on the air as early as Monday morning.

The former WVKS-FM (92.5) morning-radio host posted on his Web site, andrewzonline.com, that he is returning to the Toledo airwaves with the debut of his new show, Andrew Z in the Morning: The People's Show.

Also on the page are photos and bios of six morning-show sidekicks, including his wife, Michelle, a former crime reporter with WUPW-TV, Channel 36.

Scott Meier, regional vice president with Cumulus Media, declined to comment, saying no deal had been reached.

Zepeda, 41, hosted Andrew Z in the Morning at WVKS for five years, until he was fired from the station in December. Zepeda was charged late last year with failing to pay sales tax and orchestrating a break-in at the pizzeria he formerly owned at Levis Commons in Perrysburg.

He avoided prosecution by pleading guilty to all of the charges against him -- complicity to breaking and entering, theft, and failure to remit sales tax -- and entering an intervention program for alcohol abuse. His Perrysburg location and a restaurant downtown both went out of business and closed.
