Program on Constitution available on Buckeye
7/15/2011We the People ... The U.S. Constitution and You is a 20-minute program available for free to subscribers of Buckeye CableSystem’s digital service.
The program highlights the most essential aspects of the Constitution and is narrated by Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, who has written two books on civil liberties.
DVDs of the program were purchased by Buckeye CableSystem and were given to high schools in Ohio’s Fifth and Ninth Congressional Districts and in Monroe and Lenawee counties, said Tom Dawson, CableSystem spokesman. Additional copies were donated to public libraries, community colleges, public access stations, and local chambers of commerce, he said.
Buckeye Digital subscribers can view it by pressing Menu on their digital remote and by using the Arrow and Select keys to make three on-screen selections: VOD; News and Information Category, then We The People.
Buckeye CableSystem, which provides voice, video, and data services to 150,00 area customers, is a subsidiary of Block Communications, Inc., owner of The Blade.
