COLUMBUS -- The Ohio News Network cable channel is to cease operations Aug. 31 after a 15-year run.

Tom Griesdorn, president and general manager, said changing consumer habits left no viable business model for the organization, which covers news from around the state.

The network is owned by Dispatch Printing Co., which also owns the Columbus Dispatch and WBNS-TV.
