WTVG-TV, Channel 13, has made a few additions to its on-air personnel.

Meteorologist Ross Ellet joined WTVG from Ohio News Network, where he worked earlier this year as morning meteorologist before ONN closed. Ellet served as weekend meteorologist and weather reporter for KHBS/KHOG in Fayetteville, Ark., from 2008 until 2012.

Meteorologist Nichole Langley is the station's new weekday traffic anchor and reporter on 13abc Action News Good Morning, and will anchor weather periodically. Langley was the morning meteorologist/reporter at ABC affiliate KFBB-TV in Great Falls, Mont., for the past two years.

"Meteorologists Jay Berschback, Bill Spencer, Geoff Cornish, Nichole Langley, Susan Ware, Kelly Heidbreder, and Ross Ellet give 13abc unmatched experience in the crucial area of daily and severe weather events," said WTVG's executive news director, Brian Trauring. "We've never had seven meteorologists at 13abc, but this reflects the importance and our commitment to weather coverage."

Daryl Kirkland-Morgan started work at Channel 13 on Monday as a reporter and evening assignments editor. Morgan was promoted from WTVG's sister station, WENY-TV (CBS/ABC) in Elmira, N.Y., where she anchored the 11 p.m. newscast and was also a reporter and producer at the station.
