An Adrian College professor will compete on the television game show Jeopardy! today in her sixth consecutive match, trying to add to her five-day total of $98,970.

Stephanie Jass, 42, of Milan, Mich., is an associate professor of history at Adrian College. She has appeared on the program — the episodes of which had been taped — since Oct. 8.

“I didn’t go in expecting to win at all, let alone win so many times,” Ms. Jass said in a statement released by the show. “Winning the first game was great. I could call myself a champion and hold my head high. After that, the rest was gravy."
