Apolo Ohno, Emmitt Smith latest 'Dancing with the Stars' eliminations
11/21/2012Olympic speedskater Apolo Ohno and Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith have danced their final dance on Dancing with the Stars.
The latest eliminations from ABC’s celebrity dance competition sets up an All-Star finale between Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and actresses Kelly Monaco and Melissa Rycroft.
Elimination is based on a combination of judges’ scores plus audience votes. Smith and Ohno, both previous Dancing with the Stars champions, had the two lowest overall totals after the audience votes and judges’ scores were combined.
Johnson and Rycroft were the top scorers after the judge’s weighed in Monday night. Ohno was in third place, after he and professional partner Karina Smirnoff received perfect scores from the judges for their rumba — one of two dances they performed Monday night.
The three remaining contestants and their professional dance partners will compete for the judges at 8 p.m. Monday on ABC and the winner will be revealed at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
