Cable co-op makes deal with Monroe network

MONROE — The Monroe-based eScapes Network has reached an agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative that gives the cooperative distribution rights to the network.

The eScapes Network, which launched in 2011, combines high-definition video of all kinds of scenes with relaxing music.

The cable cooperative purchases programming and hardware for nearly 1,000 companies tems in the United States.

The eScapes Network is already available on Buckeye CableSystem, which is owned by Block Communications Inc., parent company of The Blade.
