Think you have the wit to outdo others and the physical ability to cope in challenging environments?

If so, you may want to be a contestant on the popular CBS television program Survivor, which will have a casting call next month in Put-in-Bay.

Before thinking about being the sole survivor and nabbing the $1 million grand prize, you must get to the casting call, which will be between 2 and 6:30 p.m. June 18, at the Mojito Bay bar and grill on Catawba Avenue.

Casting directors want a diverse group of men and women who reflect the face of the nation.

While contestants with interesting lifestyles and backgrounds are desired, producers are also looking for those who are adventurous, physically and mentally adept, and can easily adapt to different environments. And they must prove all of these things within a measly 60 seconds.

That's right: One minute to say why you should be considered for the program.

For suggestions on how to make a stellar impression on casting directors, visit cbssurvivorcasting.com/Survivor-Open-Casting-Calls and follow the prompt for the Put-in-Bay casting call.

There you'll find tips as to what to reveal during the one-minute endeavor, which includes stating why you believe you could win, why you're a fan of the show, and what previous Survivors you most identify with.

Every applicant is required to sign a video release and waiver at the June 18 open call.

Anyone who auditions must be age 21 and older, and must be present within 15 minutes of posted casting call end time.

No applicants will be allowed to audition after posted casting call end time.
