Bomberman's been around for quite some time - since the '80s -and gameplay has always been simple but very addictive. This latest installment in the series lives up to those criteria but unfortunately, doesn't push the envelope of the Gamecube engine very much.

If you're familiar with the core of Bomberman - solving fairly simple

puzzles and laying down kabooms and battling bosses - then you ll enjoy more of the same. There are some really inventive modes within the game.

Nothing stunning here but good clean fun at a great price.

The Suffering is a game best played with the lights on. It's that creepy.

The morbid action-horror title takes gamers on a death row ride thru the dark, creature-strewn halls of a maximum security prison as lead character "Torque."

One of the best in-game features is the ability to flip back between first and third person viewpoints on the fly. You can actually play the entire game through in either mode - a nice touch on Midway's part. There's nothing like having your flashlight die as you hear the scraping blades of a "Slayer" headed your way. One of the most brutal action-packed titles ever, Suffering will keep you on edge.
