Game review: Get up and get Groovin'

5/8/2004

PS2 (MSRP $49.99 with EyeToy/$29.99 without)

Last year the EyeToy was one of my top picks for the holiday season and the new release of Groove is a welcome addition to the PS2 party library.

The basic premise of the game will find you dancing around in front of the camera and your onscreen image must hit the lit buttons and stars that appear in the corners of the screen - all the while keeping the beat to tunes from a diverse group of artists like Fatboy Slim and Madonna.

You ll definitely want to have your PS2 plugged into your stereo system for this game - it rocks!

Dance pad? None needed. An EyeToy camera and some empty floor space to bust a funky move is all you ll need with the great new innovative release that appeals to a huge age range.

Kudos to Sony for getting gamers off the couch and moving to music in this fun, fresh party game.
