Game review: GBA Video (Majesco) *****

7/17/2004
Monte Miller, 8, watches as Corey Corbin helps steer Heaven Baker, 3, and her brother, B.J., 2, near their homes on Broadway in South Toledo. Corey, 14, was keeping tabs on the younger kids yesterday as they played outside. Children may be confined to indoor play today, as forecasters are calling for rain.

Just when you think hand-held gaming can t get any cooler, someone goes and makes your GameBoy a mini-movie player.

Some great popular titles are now available including SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents (the video that I watched for this review).

The videos were a big hit with my kids on a road trip (they even watched them before bed under the covers with the backlit SP model) and both the picture and sound were great - even without headphones.

It s a must-have for parents on the go and a great alternative when your fingers tire from the button-mashing.
