Verizon Wireless plans faster service in Toledo area
7/20/2011Faster data services for Verizon Wireless customers in metro Toledo arrive Thursday.
The cell-phone company said Tuesday its 4G network will be available to Toledo and some of its immediate suburbs in Ohio, including Sylvania, Perrysburg, Maumee, Waterville, and Northwood. It also will be brought to Bowling Green. The service will be for customers using smart phones, laptops, or tablets.
The faster network, which has its own price plans, has been rolled out in other cities.
