Michigan’s use of Intelligent Transportation System technology is the subject of a public survey the Michigan Department of Transportation is conducting.

The department and Western Michigan University researchers want to study public awareness of, and opinions about, the state’s use of programmable signs, travel-time signs, closed-circuit cameras, road weather information systems, the Mi Drive traffic-information site, and Freeway Courtesy Patrol.

The five-minute survey is available on the Mi Drive online page, michigan.gov/drive. Responses will be confidential.
