UT helping dispose of old electronics
3/21/2014The University of Toledo is accepting old electronics from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in parking area 28 off East Rocket Drive.
A disposal fee of $10 will be charged for older TVs of 24 inches or less and $20 for TVs larger than that.
Items collected will be disposed in an environmentally responsible manner through Affinity Information Management, university officials said.
The event is part of UT’s Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, and Design Program and its RecycleMania effort, a recycling competition among universities in the United States and Canada.
