Former University of Toledo women's basketball player Kahli Carter has signed a contract to play professionally in Switzerland.
Carter, the leading scorer (17.5 points per game) and rebounder (8.8 rpg) for the Rockets this past season, will play for Helios, a first division team which compiled a 30-5 record last year.
“This is a great opportunity for Kahli,'' UT coach Mark Ehlen said yesterday. “I'm really happy for her. Anytime you get a chance to play after college, that's great.''
Carter, a 6-0 forward, married former UT men's basketball player Albert Wilson last month in Cleveland, where she resides.
