UT men play tonight

The University of Toledo men's basketball team tips off its exhibition schedule tonight at 7 against the Argentina Select Team in Savage Hall.

“We're looking at this exhibition game as a chance to evaluate our team under game conditions,” UT coach Stan Joplin said. “We have a pretty young team this year with just one senior and this game will give us an opportunity to start developing some chemistry out on the court.”

The Rockets return their starting backcourt in sophomore Terry Reynolds and junior Nick Moore, and they will be joined in the team's three-guard offense by sophomore Keith Triplett, a Bowsher graduate, who will be making his UT debut after sitting out last season.

Joplin must replace his entire front court, and is expected to start junior Milo Kirsh and sophomore Ricardo Thomas at forward against the Argentina team, which will be playing its fourth game in four nights.
